Theatreworx and Flat Earth
Many thanks to those folk who braved the cold of Saturday to help the Theatreworx back stage crew with scenery.
Les, Seussical's Stage Manager, could barely contain his excitement at the fantastic assortment of scenery made
available to Theatreworx by Flat Earth Scenery and Stage. When Les has finsihed building the set, the Olympus Theatre
will be a spectacular array of shapes and colour in the best tradition of Dr Seuss.
Despite some rather harsh (but apparently necessary ) milk rationing, all in attendance experienced Jane's tea making
skills, a rare treat indeed . The only dissenting voice on a successful day was that of Steve Blackmoore's, who was
disappointed to hear that Les could find no use for the giant packman he'd discovered in the depths of the Flat Earth warehouse.
With the show only a week away keep your eye out for Theatreworx in the local press. Bristol Evening Post, Metro and
Venue have all been requesting updates and news. We sent this picture of 'The Bird Girls with our Cat and
the Jojo' to Venue, but thought you loyal web readers should get the first look !
Hope to see you at the show.
